My Grandfather Stanislau Strengthens GP7 Cinema's Production Capacity with a National Record on TV Globo and a Leading Position on Globoplay

GP7 Cinema, a production company based in Paraná, has just achieved one of the most significant milestones in its 25-year history in the Brazilian audiovisual industry. The TV movie *Meu Avô Stanislau*, a co-production made for TV Globo in partnership with RPC (Globo’s affiliate in Paraná), set record ratings during its national premiere and, days later, also topped the streaming charts.

Aired nationwide on February 2, 2026, as part of the “Tela Quente apresenta Cine BBB” time slot, the TV movie moved Brazilian audiences and reached approximately 16.6 million viewers, recording a national rating of 9.6 points. This performance made *Meu Avô Stanislau* the highest-rated regional TV movie since the launch of Globo’s regional co-production project in 2023, surpassing all previous productions aired in that time slot.

The production also performed exceptionally well in key markets across the country, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiânia, Fortaleza, and Curitiba, demonstrating its ability to connect with diverse audiences and regions.

In addition to its impressive ratings on broadcast television, the show’s impact extended to the digital sphere. On February 11, 2026, just nine days after its national premiere, *Meu Avô Stanislau* reached No. 1 among films on Globoplay, reinforcing the show’s strong engagement on streaming platforms as well and expanding its reach to audiences across multiple viewing platforms.

Filmed in Paraná with a predominantly local technical and creative team, *Meu Avô Stanislau* presents a narrative marked by memory, cultural identity, and family relationships—elements that helped forge a genuine connection with Brazilian audiences.

For Guto Pasko, directing and producing *My Grandfather Stanislau* represented one of the greatest challenges in the production company’s recent history.

“Traditionally, a feature film takes about two years to complete, including development, production, and post-production. In the case of *Meu Avô Stanislau*, we had only seven months to complete the entire process—from the approval of the original idea, through script development, pre-production, filming, post-production, to the national premiere on TV Globo’s *Tela Quente*. This result demonstrates not only GP7 Cinema’s creative maturity but, above all, our technical, artistic, and delivery capabilities to serve major market players—whether Globo or any other strategic partner—producing with excellence from Curitiba.”

More than just a ratings success, these results solidify GP7 Cinema’s position as a production company with a proven ability to develop, produce, and deliver premium content on a national scale, excelling in projects for broadcast television, streaming platforms, and cinema.

With 25 years of experience and a catalog of more than 60 completed projects, GP7 Cinema continues to expand its presence in the domestic and international markets, combining an authorial identity, industrial capacity, and concrete audience results.
