Simone Spoladore, Licurgo Spinola, and Ranieri Gonzalez are part of the cast of the second season of *Contracapa*

Recognized for their careers in film, television, and theater, the three actors from Paraná are joining the new season of the series produced by GP7 Cinema, which remains committed to showcasing exclusively talent from Paraná.

The second season of *Contracapa*, a drama series produced by GP7 Cinema, will feature three major additions to its cast: Simone Spoladore, Licurgo Spinola, and Ranieri Gonzalez. The actors join a cast of 77 professionals in this new phase of production, which began filming on October 19 in Curitiba and is scheduled to wrap up on December 13, 2026.

The selection of these three artists reaffirms a principle that has guided the series since its inception: working exclusively with actors from Paraná, valuing the artistic quality, experience, and diversity of talent found in the state. This is a guiding principle championed by GP7 Cinema and Executive Producer Guto Pasko, who views the promotion of local professionals as a fundamental part of *Contracapa*’s identity and creative vision.

With established careers in different segments of Brazilian drama, Simone, Licurgo, and Ranieri represent different generations and artistic experiences, bringing to the production an impressive repertoire of work in film, television, and theater.

Talents from Paraná with national recognition

Born in Curitiba, Simone Spoladore has built a distinguished career in Brazilian audiovisual media, with appearances in film productions acclaimed by critics and audiences alike. Her film debut came in *Lavoura Arcaica* (2001), directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho, followed by works such as *Desmundo* (2002), directed by Alain Fresnot; *O Ano em que Meus Pais Saíram de Férias* (2006), directed by Cao Hamburger; and *Elvis & Madona* (2010), directed by Marcelo Laffitte. On television, she has appeared in productions such as *Os Maias*, *América*, *Éramos Seis*, and *Magnífica 70*, an HBO series in which she played the character Dora Dumar. Throughout her career, she has received significant recognition, including the Best Actress award at the Gramado Film Festival and honors from APCA and the Guarani Awards.

Born in Palmas, Paraná, and raised in Curitiba, Licurgo Spinola also has an extensive artistic career. He began his career in the theater scene of Paraná, where he gained recognition as an actor early in his training, before moving to Rio de Janeiro to expand his work in Brazilian television. He has appeared in numerous soap operas and series, including *A Indomada*, *Anjo Mau*, *Suave Veneno*, *Malhação*, *O Profeta*, *Tempos Modernos*, and *Força-Tarefa*. In film and theater, he has also taken on roles that have solidified his experience and versatility as a performer.

With a career spanning more than 30 years in theater, television, and film, Ranieri Gonzalez joins the second season of *Contracapa* after starring in *Meu Avô Stanislau*, a TV movie produced by GP7 Cinema in co-production with TV Globo and RPC, directed by Guto Pasko. In the film, available on Globoplay, the actor plays Stanislau, the central character in a story set in Prudentópolis, in the interior of Paraná, which explores family relationships, memory, and cultural identity. Aired nationally on TV Globo in February 2026, the TV movie reached approximately 16.6 million viewers and subsequently became the top-rated film on Globoplay. His role in *Meu Avô Stanislau* solidified an artistic partnership between the actor and GP7 Cinema, which now extends to the series’ new season.

Promoting Paraná’s Audiovisual Industry

The presence of the three actors in the second season of *Contracapa* reinforces GP7 Cinema’s commitment to the training, promotion, and visibility of audiovisual professionals from Paraná. By bringing together artists with diverse experiences and professional backgrounds, the series demonstrates that it is possible to develop fictional productions with a regional identity while also featuring talents whose careers extend beyond the state’s borders.

Directed by Guto Pasko and co-directed by Di Florentino, the second season will consist of eight 45-minute episodes and is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2027. The series is produced by Andréia Kaláboa and Guto Pasko through GP7 Cinema, with Andréia Kaláboa serving as executive producer.

The new season has been pre-licensed by Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) for broadcast on TV Brasil and continues the journey of a series that, since its first season, has gained a foothold on broadcast television, pay TV, and streaming platforms, as well as reaching international audiences.
