The first session will take place on June 9 at 11 a.m. in the Vão Livre space at MON, during the “Business Talks with GP7 Cinema” event. The event will be an opportunity for professionals, producers, and creators to learn more about the history of the Paraná-based production company, which over the past two and a half decades has established a diversified presence in the areas of audiovisual development, production, and distribution.
During the discussion, Andréia Kaláboa will present the market strategies adopted by GP7 Cinema, the steps the company has taken to expand its national and international reach, and the characteristics of the projects the production company seeks to incorporate into its portfolio. The discussion will also address opportunities for co-production, project development, and new creative partnerships.
On June 10, at 10:45 a.m., Andréia returns to the MECI program as a panelist for “From Feature Films to Series: Market Challenges and Production Scale,” held in the Poty Lazzarotto Auditorium.
Alongside Camila Lamha of Canal Brasil, and moderated by Raiane Rodrigues, the producer will discuss the transformations in the contemporary audiovisual market, analyzing how different formats impact the creative, production, and commercial processes of these works.
Drawing on GP7 Cinema’s practical experience, the session will address strategies for the development, production, and positioning of projects in a landscape increasingly shaped by the convergence of film, television, and digital platforms. The discussion will also highlight the challenges related to production scale and the growing demand for serialized content, without losing sight of the creative identity and sustainability of the projects.
Andréia Kaláboa’s participation in MECI reinforces GP7 Cinema’s commitment to knowledge exchange, fostering new business opportunities, and strengthening the Brazilian audiovisual industry.
In addition to sharing her experience in development and production, the production company is using the event to expand its network with creators, companies, investors, and industry institutions, helping to create new opportunities and consolidate an increasingly collaborative and competitive market.
