In Prudentópolis, in southern Brazil, 75% of the population is of Ukrainian descent.
There, the “Brazilians” have always been forced involuntarily to share in the customs and traditions of this people, which have been “imposed” on the daily lives of the local population for over a century, leading to many conflicts with those who are not Ukrainian. But the process of acculturation has taken hold and it affects everyone.
