SYNOPSIS
Inspired by a true story that took place in the city of Cruz Machado during the second decade of the 20th century. Antiocho Pereira, a pharmacist, was moved by the plight of the Poles who had come to live in the region and were suffering from a complete lack of infrastructure, compounded by a cruel typhoid fever epidemic. To save the immigrants, he took an extreme and heroic action.
A fictional episode produced by GP7 Cinema for RPCTV (Globo-PR) for the program “Revista RPC” (segment “Casos e Causos”).
